Pyrogenic
carbons
(PCs),
with
varying
structures
depending
on
the
materials
and
thermal
treatment
conditions,
have
been
extensively
used
to
enhance
anaerobic
digestion
by
mediating
electron
transfer.
However,
underlying
mechanism
has
yet
be
explored.
Herein,
redirection
enhancement
of
direct
interspecies
transfer
(DIET)
pathway
were
evidenced,
along
upregulated
electrochemical
properties
structural
proteins
in
methanogenic
consortia.
Further,
we
found
that
PCs
featured
trade-off
"biopseudocapacitor"
"bioconductor"
during
treatment,
as
endowed
evolution
oxygen-containing
functional
groups
(for
