In recent years, the issue of nuclear wastewater treatment has garnered considerable attention. Investigating specific impact mechanisms pollution on development seafood industry holds significant importance for national economic development. Based this premise, study first examines influence discharge from Country J willingness City Q’s residents to purchase through a comparative survey. Then, DID (Difference-in-Differences) model and SARIMA (Seasonal Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average) time series are constructed analyze economy. The empirical results indicate that J’s practices negatively affect cumulative growth rate sales in Q also reduce residents’ seafood. these findings, provides relevant policy recommendations policymakers stakeholders address potential environmental challenges future.
