Abstract Creation of an efficient and cost‐effective proton exchange membrane (PEM) has emerged as a propitious solution to address the challenges renewable energy development. Coordination polymers (CPs) have garnered significant interest due their multifunctional applications moldability, along with long‐range order. Since the last century, we have witnessed development of molecular magnetism which deals with magnetic materials based on species, i.e., organic radicals and metal complexes. Among them, broadest attention was devoted to molecule-based ferro-/ferrimagnets, spin transition materials, including those exploring electron transfer, nanomagnets, such as single-molecule magnets (SMMs), qubits, stimuli-responsive materials. Their physical properties open application horizons in sensors, data storage, spintronics, quantum computation. The synthesis of two three-dimensional coordination frameworks [CdX2(TPA)] (X = Br for 1 and I 2) has been achieved through the assembly tri(pyridine-3-yl)amine (TPA) with cadmium halides. compounds are isostructural, both fabricated from infinite linkage Cd2+ TPA molecules, halide anions serving as μ2-bridging terminally coordinated species. Photoluminescence properties polymers have thoroughly examined, revealing room-temperature phosphorescence unique decay lifetimes. Remarkably, a yellow glow is samples owing to heavy atom effects. A comprehensive structure–property analysis, complemented by theoretical calculations, conducted elucidate mechanisms underlying fluorescence phosphorescence. Furthermore, photochromic behavior Cd–Br-based solid, which based on an electron transfer process, also investigated.

New copper compounds, [Cu(C14H8O6)(C10H8N2)(H2O)] (1), [Cu(C14H8O6)(C10H8N2)(H2O)]·(C3H7ON)2 (2), [Cu(C14H8O6)(C10H8N2)(H2O)2]·(C3H7ON) (3), [Cu(C14H8O6)(C10H8N4)] (4), and [Cu(C14H8O6)(C10H8N4)]·(H2O) (5), were prepared employing 2,5-bis(prop-2-yn-1-yloxy)terephthalic acid (2,5-BPTA) as the primary ligand 4,4'-bipyridine (1-3) 4,4'-azopyridine (4-5) secondary ligands.
