Jinhua Xiangyuan (JHXY) is a unique type of Chinese tea made from roasted oolong and subsequently fermented by Eurotiumcristatum. In this study, we investigated the potential benefits JHXY on obese rats induced high-sucrose high-fat diet. infusion was administered orally at 1.6 g/kg·bw (HI), 0.8 (MI), 0.4 (LI) per day for10 weeks. Weight gain significantly suppressed without affecting appetite. MI HI groups, led to significant reduction in triglycerides (TG), total cholesterol (TC), low-density lipoprotein (LDL-C), accompanied an increase high-density (HDL-C) levels. A white adipose tissue (WAT) index brown (BAT) were observed. group, morphology hepatocytes restored. The abundance Bifidobacterium elevated, whereas Desulfovibrio reduced. Correlation analysis revealed that ratio Ruminococcus positively correlated with HDL-C; Christensenellaceae_R7_group negatively TC LDL-C, while Lactobacillus BAT/WAT ratio. lipopolysaccharide biosynthesis pathway predicted be weakened (p<0.05); sulfur relay system attenuated, bacterial toxins augmented (p<0.05). Our research showed has enhance metabolic health maintain intestinal homeostasis. Optimal dosage should focal point future research.

Intermittent fasting (IF) could not work well in females indicating that additional interventions might be necessary to improve outcomes. We here investigated whether Pu-erh tea extract (PTE) intake enhance anti-obesity effect of IF female mice and explored the underlying mechanisms. The combination PTE treated obesity by reducing lipogenesis enhancing adipose thermogenesis. This decrease follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) reduce FSH-mediated UCP1 inhibition AMPK/PGC1α/UCP1 pathways, finally promoting Based on this, we speculated increase FSH a key reason for poor under IF. Besides, this modulated composition gut microbes (restored Firmicutes/Bacteroidetes improved Akkermansia abundance) protecting intestinal barrier, further promoted production SCFAs especially butyrate which induce thermogenesis adipose. Our results suggested an effective strategy combating females.

This study investigated the potential fat-thermogenic effects of Eurotium cristatum, and elucidated underlying mechanisms. The 12-week administration E. cristatum in HFD-fed obese mice reduced body weight improved glucolipid metabolism disorders. also efficiently promoted thermogenesis by increasing expression UCP1 PRDM16 both interscapular brown adipose tissue (iBAT) inguinal white (iWAT) mice. Furthermore, shaped gut microbiome abundance Parabacteroides Akkermansia muciniphila, elevated levels cecal short-chain fatty acids, particularly propionate acetate. Of note, A. muciniphila was highly negatively correlated with gain (r = -0.801, p < 0.05) iWAT index -0.977, 0.01), suggesting that may play an important role thermogenic mobilization induced cristatum. Continuous supplementation suppressed accumulation, metabolism, enhanced activity iBAT. Collectively, our results propose boosted acts as a key microbe tea-derived probiotic cristatum-mediated anti-obesity effects.

Roseburia intestinalis, enriched in the gut, is closely associated with obesity, intestinal inflammation, and other diseases. A novel detection method for R. intestinalis to replace commonly used 16S rRNA sequencing technique aim developed, thus enabling real-time low-cost monitoring of gut microbiota. The optimal solution utilize rGO-FET (reduced graphene oxide field-effect transistor) functionalized aptamers. Due high sensitivity sensors electronic changes system, it anticipated achieve that traditional fluorescence techniques cannot attain. previous work reported a nucleic acid aptamer library, Ri 7_2, capable quantitatively tracking complex systems. However, due complexity library itself, large-scale industrial synthesis challenging, significantly limiting its further commercial application potential. Therefore, this study, through Next-Generation Sequencing analysis, four representative single aptamers from strategically selected, named A-Rose 1, 2, 3, 4, confirmed their excellent performance similar 7_2. Furthermore, aptamer-modified demonstrated universality detecting series biochemical analyses, providing powerful diagnostic tool clinical diagnosis intestinalis.
