Food is a necessary source of energy, but it also serves as pathway for transmitting infectious pathogens, making food safety matter great concern. Rapid, accurate, and specific detection methods foodborne viruses are crucial. Surface-Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS), due to its superior sensitivity characteristic fingerprint spectra, holds enormous potential. However, the limitations SERS, requires conditions achieve specificity. In order enhance specificity accuracy nucleic acid based on we have developed CRISPR-Cas12a-mediated SERS technique identify target DNA, harnessing targeting recognition capability CRISPR-Cas12a ultra-sensitive tags successfully addressing SERS' lack capability. This system includes gold/nickel foam substrate (Au-NFs) reporter (ssDNA-ROX).
