Twenty-two chalcone derivatives containing thiourea and piperidine moieties were synthesized. The in vitro antifungal activities of these compounds against nine fungi evaluated. results demonstrated that a majority exhibited exceptional activities. Especially, K2 displayed the most potent fungicidal activity Phytophthora capsici (P. capsici), with half-effective concentration (EC50) 5.96 μg/mL, surpassing control drug azoxystrobin (Az, 25.2 μg/mL). vivo experiments conducted on pepper leaves fruits. It significant protective efficacy P. (95.3%) at 200 which surpassed Az (79.0%). Morphological investigations utilizing scanning electron microscopy (SEM) fluorescence (FM) unveiled disruptive impact mycelium. Moreover, mechanistic studies have capacity to disrupt integrity cellular membrane pathogenic fungi, influence lipid peroxidation processes within membrane, induce content release. These experimental findings provided new idea for effectively preventing plant fungal diseases developing novel green chemical pesticide products.

Abstract BACKGROUND Brown rot, triggered by Monilinia fructicola , causes substantial postharvest losses. However, the widespread application of chemical fungicides has development resistance in pathogenic fungi and accumulation hazardous residues. Plant‐derived offer an eco‐friendly alternative to owing their low toxicity broad‐spectrum activity. RESULTS secreted acidic substances that reduced pH while increasing pectinase (PG) cellulase (Cx) activities 230.6% 59.8%, respectively, leading increase 85.9% hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O ), slight increases superoxide dismutase (SOD; 15.1%), catalase (CAT; 5.8%) peroxidase (POD; 9.2%), elevations malondialdehyde (MDA content conductivity 48.8% 49.4%. Meanwhile, it defense enzyme activity [phenylalanine ammonialyase (PAL), β‐1,3‐glucanase (GLU), Chitinase (CHI)] secondary metabolite secretion (lignin, total phenol, flavonoids). By contrast, carvacrol treatment inhibited M . vitro [median effective concentration (EC 50 ) 24.2 mg L −1 ] lesion diameter expansion vivo Additionally, controls values decreases Cx PG activity, reduces H MDA enhancing antioxidant enzymes. CVR restores system promoting enzymes secretion, thus achieving a protective effect against invasion. Nigrospora oryzae is one of several fungal pathogens known to cause brown streaks, leaf spots, and latent infections in rice. In this study, the entire 42.09-Mb genome N. was sequenced at a depth 169× using Oxford Nanopore Technologies platform. The draft sequence comprised 26 scaffolds, possessed an average GC content 58.83%, contained total 10,688 protein-coding genes. Analysis complete revealed that CAZyme-encoding genes account for 6.11% all identified numerous transcription factors (TFs) associated with diverse biological processes belong predominantly Zn-clus (22.20%) C2H2 (10.59%) TF classes. addition, encoding 126 transport proteins 3307 pathogen–host interaction were identified. Comparative analysis previously reported reference strain GZL1 representative ZQ1 obtained here 9722 colinear Collectively, these findings provide valuable insights into genetic mechanisms phenotypic characteristics.
