Over the past two decades, biotechnology has yielded Bt cotton, a huge success in field of agriculture. In number countries, commercial crop production proven successful. The global food scarcity crisis been alleviated by transgenic crops, which have improved agricultural productivity. cotton displays variable levels insect resistance to several environmental abiotic circumstances, including high temperatures, salt soil, water logging and scarcity, inadequate nitrogen supply, humidity. It demonstrated that these components lessen crop's endotoxin protein level, turn reduces insecticidal efficacy crop. unfavourable climatic conditions, plants altered metabolism pain their physiological systems. This article discussed some primary stresses encounters as well underlying mechanisms explain its under both single combination pressures. While important elements are covered this study, such gene silencing, post transcriptional changes, breakdown, most aspect still need investigation is metabolism. A thorough meta-analysis table provides an overview significant research carried out examine impacts stress. comprehensive study technique needed clarify metabolic changes transpire crops order increase performance worldwide, more address unpredictable crops.

Nano-selenium (Nano-Se), as a biological stimulant, promotes plant growth and development, well defense against biotic abiotic stresses. Glutathione (GSH) is crucial antioxidant also involved in the response to various In this study, efficacy of combined treatment Nano-Se GSH (SeG) on resistance cucumber plants Botrytis cinerea was investigated terms phenotype, gene expression, levels accumulated metabolites using transcriptomic metabolomic analyses. The exogenous application SeG significantly enhanced increased photosynthetic pigment contents capacity. Notably, B. infection reduced markedly by 41.9% after treatment. At molecular level, activated alpha-linolenic acid metabolic pathway upregulated expression genes responsible for jasmonic (JA) synthesis, including LOX (210%), LOX4 (430%), AOS1 (100%), AOC2 (120%), therefore promoting JA accumulation cucumber. Intriguingly, level cucurbitacin, an important phytoalexin cucurbitaceous plants, found be SeG-treated cucurbitacin biosynthesis-related OSC (107.5%), P450 (440.8%,31.6%), ACT (414.0%). These were treatment, suggesting that may upstream regulator biosynthesis. Taken together, study demonstrated pretreatment with could activate signaling promote biosynthesis enhance infection. findings indicate promising biostimulant protecting from without loss.

Climate change is a global problem facing all aspects of the agricultural sector. Heat stress due to increasing atmospheric temperature one most common climate impacts on agriculture. has direct effects crop production, along with indirect through associated problems such as drought, salinity, and pathogenic stresses. Approaches reported be effective mitigate heat include nano-management. Nano-agrochemicals nanofertilizers nanopesticides are emerging approaches that have shown promise against stress, particularly biogenic nano-sources. Nanomaterials favorable for production their low toxicity eco-friendly action. This review focuses different stresses production. Nano-management crops under including application nanopesticides, discussed. The potential limitations these nano-agrochemicals reviewed. Potential nanotoxicity need more investigation at local, national, levels, well additional studies into soil, plant, microbial properties processes.

Myxomycetes (plasmodial slime molds) are eukaryotic protist predators that associated with wood, leaf litter, and soil in forests, where they feed on bacteria, protozoans, (to a more limited extent) fungi. The health of crop plants is essential because represent primary food source for humans. However, when myxomycetes produce numerous fruiting bodies the stems leaves plants, which herein referred to as myxomycete colonization, this has potential interfering plant photosynthesis, transpiration respiration by blocking out light covering stomata. not pathogens, but their occurrence can be mistakenly interpreted some type infection. phenomenon been largely ignored. This paper provides comprehensive overview taxonomic economic diversity organisms involved colonization. In addition, various types colonization reported literature described discussed, number images provided, cultural chemical prevention control measures summarized. latter should significant relevance local production crops protective stations. While pathogens species seriously impact commercially grown mushrooms. Reports affecting mushrooms also paper.
