Alcoholic beverages are loved by the majority of consumers because their diverse characteristics and rich nutritional value; thus, ensuring quality is necessary for maintaining rapid development alcoholic beverage industry. Due to trace levels various factors complexity body matrix, pretreatment usually required before analysis. Among many methods available, microextraction has attracted increasing attention it aligns with direction green chemistry. This review surveys advancements in techniques pertaining three aspects most frequently consumed beverages: baijiu huangjiu (spirits) wine beer (fermented drinks). Furthermore, new directions discussed.
