Abstract::
An
efficient
direct
oxidation
method
was
developed
to
oxidize
some
aromatic
and
aliphatic
aldehydes
esters
by
the
dual
utilization
of
NaIO4
Pd-C.
At
ambient
conditions,
various
were
employed
in
a
clean
esterification
reaction
afford
numerous
good
excellent
yields.
By
this
adopted
method,
multifunctional
aldehydes,
high-energy-containing
unsaturated
advantageously
oxidized
without
noticeable
difficulties.
Moreover,
no
over-oxidation
occurred
alcohols,
mostly
products
not
formed
during
process.
Conventional
modern
methods
lag
behind
owing
their
easier
operability
easy
work-up
This
investigation
has
proven
that
required
oxidant
(NaIO4)
or
catalyst
(Pd-C)
is
useless
employ
excess,
although
current
utilize
hugely
expensive
reagents
for
such
conversions.
Mundane
set-up,
product
recovery
technique,
nontoxic
catalyst,
cheap
available
starting
materials
are
noteworthy
advantages
method.
