The 1,2,3-triazoles have gained significant attention in the field of chemosensors due to their distinctive features, such as ability form stable complexes with a variety metal ions and also functionalization potential. modified 1,2,3-triazole analogs may further enhance selectivity sensitivity. When coupled fluorophores or signaling groups, 1,2,3-triazole-based sensors exhibit notable changes fluorescence, absorbance, electrochemical signals upon interaction target analytes that eventually make them highly sensitive tools for environmental, industrial, biomedical applications.
