Water-based polyurethane dispersions (PUDs) show a characteristic dependency of the electrophoretic mobility on electrolyte concentration, which can be investigated by hard and soft particle models. For this purpose, additional information obtained determining charges electrostatic potentials. When functional microgels are synthesized via radical copolymerization, spatial gradients of groups often form due to a difference in reactivity ratios between monomer and comonomer. In this study, we systematically investigated the effect decreasing gradient charged from core shell on their surface properties, which crucial for colloidal particles, through analysis interfacial electrokinetic phenomena using Ohshima's equation. A series electrophoretic analyses combined with dynamic light scattering revealed that undergoes multistep collapse during particle-size reduction dehydration upon increasing temperature. Furthermore, more complicated hierarchical within was elucidated by quantitatively evaluating changes properties precipitation polymerization based phenomena.

Residual host cell chromatin imposes numerous challenges on purifying HIV-derived enveloped virus-like particles (VLPs) using anion-exchange chromatography (AEX). According to FDA guidelines, DNA must be reduced less than 10 ng per dose at a fragment size of 200 bp.
