Abstract Disclosed here is an efficient approach for the preparation of quinoxaline‐2,3‐diones using air (O 2 ) as a green oxidant via acid‐promoted self‐photocatalyzed regioselective oxidation quinoxalin‐2(1 H )‐ones at C‐3 position. This protocol presents novel synthetic route quinoxaline‐2,3‐dione derivatives, featuring mild reaction conditions, simple operation, and wide range substrates, without need external photocatalysts, metal reagents, strong oxidants.

Herein, a N-phenylphenothiazine-based hyper-cross-linked polymer (PTH-HCP) was finely designed and constructed, which serves as metal-free heterogeneous photocatalyst for organic transformations. Characterization experiments have shown that this demonstrates outstanding stability, extensive surface area, exceptional photoelectric response properties. Moreover, PTH-HCP showed good catalytic efficiency recyclability in the photochemically driven difluoromethylation/cyclization reactions. This work provides strategy design construction of photocatalysts offers support their broad prospects synthetic applications.

Abstract Over the past few years, organic chemistry has used dye rose bengal‘s ability to absorb visible light. In present‐day research, innovation of environmentally friendly processes for carbon‐carbon/carbon‐heteroatoms (Nitrogen, Oxygen, Sulphur, and Phosphorus) bond formation great importance. The photocatalyzed cross‐dehydrogenative coupling (CDC) reactions using bengal (RB) is a promising technique creating carbon‐carbon/carbon‐heteroatom bonds directly from readily available compounds. Our review focuses on current advancement in that uses bond‐making synthesize various important molecules via CDC reactions.

Abstract The combination of visible light, a renewable and green energy source, rose bengal, non‐toxic organic dye as photoredox catalyst, is an easy efficient method for synthesizing 3,4‐dihydropyrimidin‐2(1 H )‐ones/thiones in EtOH at ambient temperature very short reaction time. present work offers simple operation, workup, rapid conversion, excellent product yields, while accommodating wide range substrates. Rose bengal‐based photocatalytic approach permits foremost sustainability, which delivers economic environmental rewards.

A practical, metal-, and additive-free strategy for photo- electro-induced perfluoroalkylation/cyclization of o-hydroxyaryl enaminones with sodium perfluoroalkanesulfinates under mild conditions has been developed. Various fluoroalkyl chromones were efficiently assembled in moderate to good yields. The scalability this protocol the assembling diverse nitrogen-containing heterocycles from late-stage transformations greatly broaden practical applications developed protocol.
