Tetraene-linked diketopyrrolopyrrole (DPP)-based CMPs were developed via Knoevenagel condensation. The CMP has been characterized with NIR absorption (∼1200 nm) and high electrical conductivity (0.2 S m −1 ).

Conjugated microporous polymers (CMPs) feature extended excellent porosity properties and fully conjugated electronic systems, making them highly effective for several uses, including photocatalysis, dye adsorption, CO2 capture, supercapacitors, so on. These are known their high specific surface area adjustable porosity. To synthesize DHTP-CMPs (specifically TPE-DHTP CMP Anthra-DHTP CMP) with abundant nitrogen (N) oxygen (O) adsorption sites spherical structures, we employed a straightforward Schiff-base [4 + 2] condensation reaction. This involved using 2,5-dihydroxyterephthalaldehyde (DHTP-2CHO) as the primary building block phenolic OH group source, along two distinct structures: 4,4′,4″,4"'-(ethene-1,1,2,2-tetrayl)tetraaniline (TPE-4NH2) 4,4′,4″,4"'-(anthracene-9,10-diylidenebis(methanediylylidene))tetraaniline (Anthra-4Ph-4NH2). The synthesized had remarkable BET (BETSA) of 431 m2 g–1. Additionally, it exhibited outstanding thermal stability, shown by Td10 505 °C. Furthermore, practical implementation, demonstrates significant capacity capturing CO2, measuring 1.85 mmol g–1 at temperature 273 K 1 bar. In three-electrode test, has capacitance 121 F 0.5 A even after undergoing 5000 cycles, maintains retention rate 79%. Due to pore characteristics, N O, conjugation properties, this Anthtra-DHTP holds potential capture supercapacitor applications. work will pave way development materials based on postmodification additional groups, facilitating use in photodegradation, lithium battery applications,

The rising interest in conjugated microporous polymers (CMPs) as prospective electrode materials for supercapacitors (SCs) has been dampened by numerous obstacles. Many CMPs exhibit poor conductivity and substandard electrochemical properties, limiting their practical applications. In response to these issues, we successfully synthesized Fe- N-doped carbon-based from Py-BZFC-CMP Py-PHFC-CMP through calcination potassium hydroxide (KOH) activation at 800 °C. resulting carbons, designated Py-BZFC-CMP-800 Py-PHFC-CMP-800, demonstrated excellent attributes, including outstanding thermal stability with a Td10 up 732 °C, impressive char yields reaching 87 wt %. Furthermore, exhibited large surface areas, peaking 376 m2 g–1, significant total pore volume (PVtotal) of 0.36 cm3 g–1. One remarkable material, produced KOH exceptional performance. It achieved specific capacitance 324 F g–1 0.5 A rivaling some the highest performing porous carbon reported date. Py-PHFC-CMP-800 cycling stability, retaining 86% its after 5000 charge–discharge cycles 10 This project offers advancement field CMP-based showcasing how rational precursor design pyrolysis can lead creation high-performance carbons. Fe heteroatom doping approach enhances functionality opens possibilities owing use valuable application, efficient energy storage systems.

Supercapacitors (SCs), with their exceptional properties, offer a promising solution to the ongoing energy crisis, addressing growing demand for high-energy storage devices. Polymeric organic porous materials (POIPs) exhibit various sizes, precisely controlled porosities, lightweight nature, extensive surface areas, impressive intrinsic porosity, attractive chemistry, outstanding stability, and customizable structures functionalities. These features collectively render POIPs as cost-effective material applications in storage. This study successfully synthesized an octavinylsilsesquioxane (OVS)-FO-POIP through Heck coupling reaction between OVS 2,7-dibromo-9H-fluoren-9-one (DBFO). Confirmation of OVS-FO-POIP's chemical structure was achieved using solid-state 13C 29Si NMR Fourier transform infrared analyses. Subsequently, carbonization KOH activation at 900 °C yielded carbon material, denoted OVS-FO-POIP-900. Microporous characteristics were evidenced by specific area (SBET) values 264 m2 g–1 OVS-FO-POIP 387 OVS-FO-POIP-900 corresponding pore diameters 1.90 1.59 nm, respectively. Notably, demonstrated improved particular capacitance 776 F compared that (271 g–1) current density 1 A g–1, addition retention up 79% after 6000 cycles. The heightened enhances probability electrochemical reactions, thereby elevating levels. To delve deeper into performance, symmetric devices constructed both OVS-FO-POIP-900, exhibiting capacitances 167 268 Remarkably, performance these assessments, suggesting its potential suitability SC applications.
