Enhancing Soil Fertility and Crop Productivity in Capsicum annuum through Organic Amendments and Bio-Stimulants in Southern Zone of India
Abstract
The
study
aims
to
investigate
the
effects
of
various
organic
amendments
and
bio-stimulants
on
soil
fertility,
plant
growth,
yield
in
Capsicum
annuum
(chilli)
cultivation.
objective
was
evaluate
efficacy

treatments
as
sustainable
alternatives
conventional
chemical
fertilizers.
Ten

farmyard
manure
(FYM),
vermicompost,

manure,

activity,
while
reducing
stress
markers
proline.

contrast,
(RDF
NPK)
showed
inferior
performance
yield,
health.
These
findings
suggest
combination
offers
promising
alternative
fertilizers,
promoting
agricultural
practices
improve
both
crop
productivity
environmental
resilience.
Future
research
should
focus
optimizing
inputs
for
broader
applications.
