Drug delivery systems (DDSs) based on liposomes are potential tools to minimize the side effects and substantially enhance therapeutic efficacy of chemotherapy. However, it is challenging achieve biosafe, accurate, efficient cancer therapy with single function or mechanism. To solve this problem, we designed a multifunctional multimechanism nanoplatform polydopamine (PDA)-coated for accurate combinatorial chemotherapy laser-induced PDT/PTT.ICG DOX were co-incorporated in polyethylene glycol modified liposomes, which further coated PDA by facile two-step method construct PDA-liposome nanoparticles (PDA@Lipo/DOX/ICG). The safety nanocarriers was investigated normal HEK-293 cells, cellular uptake, intracellular ROS production capacity, treatment effect assessed human breast cells MDA-MB-231. In vivo biodistribution, thermal imaging, biosafety assessment, combination estimated MDA-MB-231 subcutaneous tumor model.Compared DOX·HCl Lipo/DOX/ICG, PDA@Lipo/DOX/ICG showed higher toxicity cells. After endocytosis target produced large amount PDT 808 nm laser irradiation, cell inhibition rate reached up 80.4%. tail vein injection (DOX equivalent 2.5 mg/kg) mice bearing tumors, significantly accumulated at site 24 h post injection. irradiation (1.0 W/cm2, 2 min) timepoint, efficiently suppressed proliferation even thoroughly ablated tumors. Negligible cardiotoxicity no treatment-induced observed.PDA@Lipo/DOX/ICG PDA-coated PDT/PTT.

Tendon regeneration is greatly influenced by the oxidant and inflammatory microenvironment. Persistent inflammation during tendon repair can cause matrix degradation, adhesion, excessive accumulation of reactive oxygen species (ROS), while ROS affect extracellular remodeling integration. Herein, we used tannic acid (TA) to modify a decellularized slice (DTS) fabricate functional scaffold (DTS-TA) with antioxidant anti-inflammatory properties for repair. The characterizations cytocompatibility scaffolds were examined in vitro. activities evaluated vitro further studied vivo using subcutaneous implantation model. It was found that modified DTS combined TA via hydrogen bonds covalent bonds, hydrophilicity, thermal stability, biodegradability, mechanical characteristics significantly improved. Afterward, results demonstrated DTS-TA could effectively reduce increasing M2/M1 macrophage ratio interleukin-4 (IL-4) expression, decreasing secretion interleukin-6 (IL-6) interleukin-1β (IL-1β), as well scavenging vivo. In summary, provides potential versatile regeneration.

In the past, use of mechanochemical methods in organic synthesis was reported as somewhat a curiosity. However, perceptions have changed over last two decades, and this technology is now being appreciated greener more efficient synthetic method. Over the last decades, food packaging has advanced significantly, which is crucial in maintaining safety and minimizing waste. However, most traditional materials market are typically made of inexpensive synthetic plastics with a limited scope providing physical containment an effective barrier against moisture gases. Abstract In this work, an active protective epoxy coating with weathering resistant, corrosion-warning, and self-healing properties was developed by incorporating tannic acid (TA) loaded mesoporous silica (MSN-TA) nanocontainers. The introduction of MSN-TA nanocontainers could alleviate the degradation via scavenging radicals generated during UV irradiation. Compared blank coating, containing 5 wt.% exhibited much less in surface morphology, wettability glossiness, maintained a good barrier property after 384 h accelerated weathering. Once damaged, released TA react Fe 3+ ions to form chelate that endowed scratch visible black coloration, i.e. triggering self-warning capability indicate initial onset corrosion. addition, inhibit extensive corrosion propagation, offering significant effect demonstrated stabilized impedance modulus values 28 days immersion NaCl solution.
