The surging growth of clinical and pharmaceutical medication as a consequence population has become threat to the environment. inherent antagonistic effects medications their metabolized side products on healthy society is an essential concern requiring immediate monitoring. To speculate these environmental pollutants, huge number selective, sensitive, cost-effective, user-compatible metal–organic framework (MOF)-based fluorescent sensors have been reported by many prominent research groups. Many recent review articles cover details MOF-based florescence sensing antibiotics, but accumulation fluorometric detection other drugs still not reported. Realizing this gap, we discussed most MOF for various in Review. selectivity, sensitivity (limit (LOD) Stern–Volmer constant (Ksv)), response time, proposed mechanisms drug thoroughly discussed. Moreover, article also covers few antibiotic sensors, which covered any previous report. Therefore, Review will provide valuable information guidance researchers develop targeted hazardous drugs. The utilization of ultrathin Mn-metal–organic framework (Mn-UMOF) nanosheets for oxidase-like nanozyme activity has been demonstrated. Mn-UMOF exhibited superior to oxidize chromogenic TMB and ABTS than the bulk Mn-BMOF. Based on this fact, a platform colorimetric sensing l-cysteine (l-cys) established over detection other amino acids natural compounds such as urea glucose. In addition, capability catalyzing oxidation amplex red fluorescent first oxidized product, which used develop fluorescence turn-off sensor selective l-cys.

Toxic antibiotic effluents and antibiotic-resistant bacteria constitute a threat to global health. So, scientists are investigating high-performance materials for decomposition antibacterial activities. In this novel research work, we have successfully designed ZIF-8@ZIF-67 nanocomposites via sol-gel solvothermal approaches. The nanocomposite is characterized by various techniques that exhibit superior surface area enhancement, charge separation, high light absorption performance. Yet, ZIF-8 has adsorption rates active sites, while ZIF-67 larger pore volume efficient reaction capabilities, demonstrating the outperforms pristine ZIF-67.
