Abstract The smart materials with multi‐color and stimuli‐responsive luminescence are very promising for next generation of optical information encryption anti‐counterfeiting, but these still scarce. Herein, a multi‐level strategy is developed based on the polychromatic emission Sb‐doped double perovskite powders (SDPPs). Cs 2 NaInCl 6 :Sb, KInCl AgInCl :Sb synthesized through coprecipitation methods exhibit broadband emissions bright blue, cyan, orange colors, respectively. transmitted by specific SDPP encrypted when different SDPPs mixed. confidential can be decrypted selecting corresponding narrowband filter. Then, an quick response (QR) code improved security demonstrated this multi‐channel selection strategy. Moreover, three types water‐triggered switching behaviors. represented erased/recovered simple water spray/drying. Whereas, collected from green channel permanently erased moisture, which fundamentally avoids leakage. Therefore, schemes designed to meet variety requirements. multicolor greatly enrich flexibility encryption, leaps level confidentiality.

Abstract Counterfeit products and data vulnerability present significant challenges in contemporary society. Hence, various methods technologies are explored for anticounterfeiting encoding, with luminescent tracers, particularly carbon dots (CDs), emerging as a notable solution. CDs offer promising contributions to product security, environmental sustainability, the circular economy. This critical review aims highlight luminescence responsiveness of physical chemical stimuli, achieved through nanoengineering their structure. The discussion will delve into tunable mechanisms decay times CDs, investigating preferential excitations such up‐conversion, delayed fluorescence, room temperature phosphorescence, persistent luminescence, energy charge transfer, well photo‐chemical interactions. These insights crucial advancing solutions. Following this exploration, systematic focus on research CDs' smart encoding applications, encompassing anticounterfeiting, tracing, quality certification, information encryption. Finally, address key implementing CDs‐based technology, providing specific strategies aimed at maximizing stability efficacy applications.

The application of one kind metal-organic framework (MOF) material used in multiple fields is the most interesting research topics. In this work, four new tetra-nuclear cluster-based lanthanide frameworks (LnMOFs) [Ln2(BTDB)3(DMA)(phen)]n (Ln = Tb TbMOF, Eu EuMOF, Gd GdMOF, Tb1.830Eu0.170Tb,EuMOF, 3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)-4',4″-dicarboxytriphenylamine H2BTDB, 1,10-phenanthroline phen) are obtained based on ligand H2BTDB that synthesized our laboratory, and precise single-crystal structure for first time. white phosphor was by facilely hybridizing two components orange-yellow emission Tb,EuMOF blue luminescence triphenylamine according to trichromatic theory. At same time, Tb,EuMOF, can be information encryption, demonstrating their potential field anti-counterfeiting. also a multi-mode self-calibrating thermometer within broad temperature range 110-300 K. Further studies show EuMOF rapid response sensor Fe2+, with very low limit detection 2.0 nM, which much lower than national standards Fe2+ (GB 5749-2005, 5.357 μM). It achieve strong anti-interference actual samples tap water lake water. addition, made into an easy-to-use sensing device test paper real-time visual Fe2+.

Abstract Constructing a library of stable phosphors with unconventional fluorescence (FL) and room temperature phosphorescence (RTP) color combination is an effective approach to enhance anti‐counterfeiting strength, but remains challenge. Herein, one‐step strategy proposed fabricate ultra‐stable CsPbX 3 /carbon dots (CDs) @NH 4 AlP 2 O 7 (X = Cl, Br, I) nanocomposites (PCPNs) full‐spectrum FL emission constant short‐wavelength blue RTP emission, breaking the conventional luminescent properties that generally exhibit obvious wavelength red‐shifts compared FL. The enhanced full‐color (457–612 nm) emissions are implemented by adjusting halogen compositions, which attributed as dominant center. Owing CDs, long‐lived lasting 12 s observed from PCPNs. Additionally, PCPNs remarkable tolerance prolonged ultraviolet irradiation erosion solutions various pH solvents, supported NH inert shell stabilizing perovskite structure triplet state. When ink based on printed substrates, fine labels combinations formed show excellent solvent resistance mechanical stability. This study provides fresh perspectives development security strength long‐term effects.

Abstract Physical unclonable function (PUF) is attractive in modern encryption technologies. Addressing the disadvantage of slow data storage/authentication optical PUF paramount for practical applications but remains an on‐going challenge. Here, a highly efficient strategy based on random structural color domains (SCDs) cellulose nanocrystal (CNC) proposed first time, combing with hyperspectral imaging system (HIS) ultrafast storage and authentication. By controlling growth fusion behavior tactoids CNC, SCDs display irregular distribution colors, shapes, sizes, reflectance spectra, which grant unique inherent fingerprint‐like characteristics that are non‐duplicated. Based images these fingerprint features used to develop two sets key generation methods, can be respectively authenticated at user‐end manufacturer‐front‐end achieving high coding capacity least 2 2304 . Notably, use HIS greatly shortens time reading (≈5 s recording, 0.5–0.7 authentication). This new labels not only solve complicated authentication PUF, also impulse development CNC industrial by reducing uniformity requirement.
