The application of one kind metal-organic framework (MOF) material used in multiple fields is the most interesting research topics. In this work, four new tetra-nuclear cluster-based lanthanide frameworks (LnMOFs) [Ln2(BTDB)3(DMA)(phen)]n (Ln = Tb TbMOF, Eu EuMOF, Gd GdMOF, Tb1.830Eu0.170Tb,EuMOF, 3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)-4',4″-dicarboxytriphenylamine H2BTDB, 1,10-phenanthroline phen) are obtained based on ligand H2BTDB that synthesized our laboratory, and precise single-crystal structure for first time. white phosphor was by facilely hybridizing two components orange-yellow emission Tb,EuMOF blue luminescence triphenylamine according to trichromatic theory. At same time, Tb,EuMOF, can be information encryption, demonstrating their potential field anti-counterfeiting. also a multi-mode self-calibrating thermometer within broad temperature range 110-300 K. Further studies show EuMOF rapid response sensor Fe2+, with very low limit detection 2.0 nM, which much lower than national standards Fe2+ (GB 5749-2005, 5.357 μM). It achieve strong anti-interference actual samples tap water lake water. addition, made into an easy-to-use sensing device test paper real-time visual Fe2+.

Multistimuli-responsive crystalline materials have a wide range of application prospects. However, development new multistimuli-responsive remains full challenge. In this work, taking symmetrical modified extended viologen (ExV)-based carboxylate 1,1-bis(4-carboxybenzyl)-2,5-bipyridyl thiophene dichloride (H2L·Cl2) as ligand and terephthalic acid (PTA) an auxiliary ligand, 3D MOF material {[Cd2(L)(PTA)2]·3H2O}n (Cd-MOF-1) was constructed successfully. Cd-MOF-1 shows distinctive photochromic electrochromic properties, which can be attributed to the formation radicals induced by electron transfer (ET) under external photo/electricity stimuli. Furthermore, title compound also displays photomodulable fluorescence sensitive distinguishable color response propylamine (PA) vapor relative other amine molecules. The selectivity toward volatile vapors may caused differences in size or propelling capacity amines. addition, character makes it suitable for ink-free erasable printing. This excellent more potential values areas photoelectric devices, light printing, detection, etc. It is helpful us further explore develop MOF-based multistimuli responsive ExV derivatives.

Four kinds of polyoxometalate (POM)-viologen compounds were synthesized by hydrothermal method, namely (1–cby)2·[H2(SiMo12O40)]·2H2O (1), (1–cby)2·[H2(SiW12O40)]·2H2O (2), (1–cby)2·(1,1′–bcby)2·{H4[Co4(H2O)2(PW9O34)2]}·12H2O (3), (1–cby)·(1,1′–bcby)·[H(α–PW11O39)CoII(1–cby)]·8H2O (4) (1–cby·Br = 1–Cyclopropylmethyl–[4,4′]bipyridinyl–1–ium bromide, 1,1′–bcby·Br 1,1′–Bis-cyclopropylmethyl–[4,4′]bipyridinyl–1–ium bromide). These four POM-viologen exhibit one-dimensional supramolecular network structures. Especially, compound 3 contains a rare sandwich POM subunit {Co4(H2O)2(PW9O34)2}10–. can be used as color-changing materials, and they all noticeable color changes upon exposure to light, heat, electricity. The discoloration mechanism involves viologen derivatives with electron-deficient properties accepting electrons from electron-rich under external stimulation, leading the formation free radicals. Among them, 1 2 also have good for ink-free erasable printing, double anticounterfeiting, ultraviolet detector because their rapid response (UV) light. In addition, 1–4 show different in detection volatile amines.

Abstract Multistimuli‐responsive color‐changing materials have potential applications in areas such as chemical sensing and anti‐counterfeiting. In this work, a fluoro‐phenyl‐acetyl‐substituted viologen derivative (FPAV·Cl 2 ) is synthesized, which can form supramolecular inclusion complex with cucurbit[7]uril (Q[7]) via self‐assembly. Significantly, the resulting FPAV 2+ @Q[7] solid‐state exhibits visual color changes response to multiple external stimuli including light, heat, vapors of ammonia organic amines. The electron spin resonance (ESR) ultraviolet–visible (UV–vis) spectra analysis reveals that photochromic, thermochromic, vapochromic behavior due generation +• free radicals from transfer. Furthermore, solid‐state, shows controllable fluorescence regulated by its chromic process. Based on multi stimuli‐responsive color‐changes properties @Q[7], practical erasable inkless printing, anti‐counterfeiting processes, visible ammonia/organic amines detection, information encryption are demonstrated. strategy encapsulating derivatives into macrocycles provides general method for fabricating applications.
