Realizing eco-friendly, long-term, and low-risk aphid control on Lycium barbarum (medicinal cash crop) using a Cynanchum komarovii extracts eucalyptus oil-loaded microcapsules (EOMCs) formulation compositions is viable. In this study, the aim to optimize composition of EOMCs for effective aphids, release was controlled by changing cross-linking degree shell match characteristics extracts. Encapsulation of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) that could evaporate at a defined rate is immense interest for application in emission reference materials (ERMs). Polyurethane/polyurea microcapsules with various VOC active ingredients (limonene, pinene, and toluene) were successfully produced by interfacial polymerization Shirasu porous glass membrane emulsification size range between 10 50 μm. The effect surfactant, VOC, monomer(s) type, ratio has great on the formulation process morphology capsules. type played significant role encapsulation efficiency. Optical scanning electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), used characterize microcapsules. results showed obtained exhibited spherical shape core–shell featured characteristic urethane-urea bonds. amount encapsulated ranges 54 7 wt %. tests performed help test chamber procedure (EN 16516). limonene-loaded polyurethane/polyurea show change less than 10% within 14 days can be considered as potential candidate use an ERM.
