This research paper reports an enhancement of thermal, optical, mechanical and antibacterial activities the Polyvinyl alcohol–Nanodiamonds (PVA-NDs) composite required for food packaging industry. The synthesis composites was done by wet processing method. large surface area NDs facilitated robust interaction between hydroxyl group macromolecular chains PVA to enhance hydrogen bonding with rather than molecules. Thus, a reduction in diffraction peak intensity reported. improved thermal stability preventing out-diffusion volatile decomposition products PVA. results also revealed tensile strength (∼60 MPa) ductility (∼180 %). PVA-NDs efficiently blocked UVC (100 %), most part UVB (∼85 % above 300 nm), UVA (∼58 Furthermore, enhanced were reported against E. coli S. aureus. accumulated around bacterial cells prevented essential cellular functions led death. Hence, this could be promising candidate safe, thermally stable, strong, flexible, transparent, UV- resistant material.
