An electrostatic capacitor for energy storage is an important basic component of pulse power electronics. The electrical breakdown strength (Eb) normal ferroelectrics low, which limits their application in dielectric storage. Constructing a 0–3-type composite dielectric, that is, introducing insulating metallic oxide into the ferroelectric matrix, can greatly enhance Eb. Unfortunately, intergranular secondary phase typically forms causes large attenuation constant, leads to limited improvement performance. In this work, ceramic with intragranular segregation structure was intentionally designed using BaTiO3–BaZrO3–CaTiO3 (BCZT) system as example. Compared those BCZT solid solution without and grain-boundary phase, rationally delivered recoverable density 5.86 J/cm3 high efficiency 86.7% at moderate electric field 550 kV/cm. Such performance achieved because displayed delayed saturation polarization This microstructural engineering strategy generally applicable optimize dielectrics meet demands high-performance capacitors.

For this study, Ba1-y-x Pr2y/3□ y/3(Na0.5Bi0.5) x Ti0.9Zr0.1O3 (y = 0.5%; 0.05, 0.1 and 0.15) (abbreviated as BZT-Pr-xNBT) ceramics were prepared by a solid state reaction method. The samples structurally characterized X-ray diffraction (XRD) the software Fullprof, which showed atomic positions, bond distances, angles of these materials in tetragonal structure. crystallite size, determined both Williamson-Hall Debye-Scherrer methods, increases with increasing Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3 NBT) content Ba1-y y/3Ti0.9Zr0.1O3 0.5%) BZT-Pr) ceramic. ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) diffuse reflectance spectrum indicated that BZT-Pr-xNBT exhibited direct band gap values range 2.90-2.78 eV. Moreover, study investigates ferroelectric, energy storage, pyroelectric harvesting properties varying NBT contents (x 0.10 0.15). results reveal substitution significantly influences ferroelectric characteristics enhances recoverable storage density (W rec) efficiency (η). Temperature-dependent scaling relations for coercive field (E C) remnant polarization (P r) derived all samples. BZT-Pr-0.15NBT ceramic, relation E C P r ∝ T -0.089, -0.233) highlights improved thermal stability composition. Pyroelectric under Olsen cycle identified BZT-Pr-0.05NBT most efficient These findings emphasize crucial impact optimizing ceramics.

This research article focuses on analyzing the behavior of high-temperature dielectric relaxation and electric conduction mechanisms in Bi1–xNdxFeO3 (BNFO) samples, where value x varies as 0, 0.10, 0.15, 0.2. The study's findings indicate that all these samples exhibit two distinct transitions. first transition occurs at a lower temperature (Ts), typically range 425 to 450 K, is characterized by frequency-dependent shoulder. associated with presence polar nanoregions (PNRs). second takes place within approximately 580 650 marking from ferroelectric paraelectric state Curie (TC). Furthermore, impedance analysis specimens reveals negative coefficient resistance, indicating wide does not conform Debye-type model. Additionally, study conductivity provides valuable insights into transport phenomena observed samples. obtained energy storage properties bulk ceramics are quite significant compared similar systems reported literature.
