High-performance microwave absorbers with special features are desired to meet the requirements of more complex modern service environments, especially corrosive environments. Therefore, high-efficiency corrosion resistance should be developed urgently. Herein, a 3D NiAl-layered double hydroxide/graphene (NiAl-LDH/G) composite synthesized by atomic-layer-deposition-assisted in situ growth is presented as an anticorrosive absorber. The content NiAl-LDH optimized achieve impedance matching. Furthermore, under cooperative effects interface polarization loss, conduction and porous sandwich-like structure, optimal NiAl-LDH/G shows excellent absorption performance minimum reflection loss -41.5 dB maximum effective bandwidth 4.4 GHz at loading only 7 wt% epoxy. Remarkably, encapsulation effect can restrain galvanic owing graphene. epoxy coating absorber on carbon steel exhibits long-term resistance, synergetic superior impermeability graphene chloridion-capture capacity NiAl-LDH. promising absorber, findings this study may motivate development functional that demands coatings.

Cyclodextrin, with a hydrophobic inner cavity and hydrophilic exterior, is often used to encapsulate widest range of guest molecules based on host-guest inclusion interactions. Graphene, an emerging nanobuilding material, exhibits great potential for numerous applications because its superior characteristics. Herein, we synthesized novel graphene/β-cyclodextrin-based supramolecular nanocontainer excellent inhibitor encapsulating capacity high impermeable properties. The benzotriazole (BTA)-loaded nanocontainers were then endow coating system passive active anticorrosion performance. Local electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (LEIS) was performed characterize the self-healing behavior composite coatings. Results indicated that protective capability scratched coatings can be recovered through BTA release from containers. Furthermore, long-term corrosion resistance container-based largely improved as observed EIS. effective healing process involves two conditions: (1) containers formation adsorption layers exposed metal surfaces (2) graphene nanosheets greatly impeded electrolyte penetration extension around scratch. This endows polymer efficient functionality durable property.
