Water electrolysis is an essential electrochemical process in the field of green hydrogen, fuel cell, energy storage devices, water spitting and carbon capture. Among them, Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) cell promising application Oxygen Evolution Reaction (OER) utilization. High cost low reserves are major issues fabrication anode PEM. Therefore, alternative traditional catalyst urgent need to promote efficiency, durability, which ultimate aim designing any electrocatalyst. MXene based nanomaterial's become emergent OER activity due their good metallic conductivity, hydrophilicity, properties high surface area. One approaches improve kinetics alloying metal nanoparticles; it depends on size shape control, morphology, composition that have been discussed. Key challenges prospectus MXene-Metallic nano alloys (Pt, Pd, Ru, Ir) as electrocatalyst proposed.
