Herein,

transition
metal

catalytic
system
for

‐mono
alkylation
of
fluorene
using
alcohols
as
alkylating
agents
via
borrowing
hydrogen
strategy.
The
protocol
displayed
versatility
with
high
yields
desired
products
various
types
primary
alcohols,
including
aryl/hetero
aryl
methanols,
and
aliphatic
agents.
