In order to improve the charge transfer properties and reduce recombination of photogenerated carriers, an Fe2O3/C3N4 heterojunction was constructed increase built-in field. The grain boundary nanocomposite filled with Cu, Au, Pt, Pd nanoparticles using in situ synthesis. nanometal-modified heterostructures showed good absorption visible near-infrared (NIR) regions. photocurrent responses light sources wavelengths 405, 532, 650, 780, 808, 980, 1064 nm were investigated Au electrodes. results indicated that exhibits switching behaviour towards visible-light NIR Interestingly, reversible response phenomenon (transition from negative positive photoconductivity) observed before after passivation defects metal nanoparticles. physical mechanisms involved discussed. Cu nanomaterials played donor effects interfacial tailoring since possess a high concentration free electrons. It shown nanocomposites play important role photoelectric modulation not only enhances acquisition but also determines polarity photocurrent. This study provides useful guidance for microstructure interdisciplinary applications materials themselves light–matter interactions.
