Abstract MXenes, an emerging two-dimensional (2D) transition metal carbides, nitrides and carbonitrides, have exhibited great potential as electrocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) due to the excellent characters, including structural chemical stability, superior electrical conductivity, large active surface area. In this comprehensive study, firstly, preparation advances of MXenes are systematically summarized. Then, representative applications MXenes-based HER introduced, from experimental theoretical aspects. Thirdly, strategies improving catalytic activity demonstrated, such optimizing sites by termination modification metal-atom doping, increasing fabricating various nanostructures. Finally, existing challenges new opportunities also elucidated. This paper provides reference future development efficient production through water-splitting technology.

High-performance flexible pressure sensors have attracted a great deal of attention, owing to its potential applications such as human activity monitoring, man-machine interaction, and robotics. However, most high-performance are complex costly manufacture. These cannot be repaired after external mechanical damage lack tactile feedback applications. Herein, sensor based on MXene/polyurethane (PU)/interdigital electrodes is fabricated by using low-cost universal spray method. The sprayed MXene the spinosum structure PU other arbitrary substrates (represented polyimide membrane filter) act sensitive layer interdigital electrodes, respectively. shows an ultrahigh sensitivity (up 509.8 kPa-1 ), extremely fast response speed (67.3 ms), recovery (44.8 good stability (10 000 cycles) due interaction between electrodes. Though the widely available, low-cost, and disposable papers have been explored in flexible paper-based pressure sensors, it is still difficult for them to simultaneously achieve ultrahigh sensitivity, low limit broad range of detection, high-pressure resolution. Herein, we demonstrate a novel sensing platform that features MXene-coated tissue paper (MTP) sandwiched between polyimide encapsulation layer printing with interdigital electrodes. After replacing weighing MTP sensor, silver electrodes can be recycled through incineration. The resulting sensor or exhibits high sensitivity 509.5 344.0 kPa-1, (∼1 Pa) (100 kPa) outstanding stability over 10 000 loading/unloading cycles. Abstract Flexible pressure sensors are one of the most important components in fields electronic skin (e‐skin), robotics, and health monitoring. The rapid development of wearable electronic devices and virtual reality technology has revived interest in flexible sensing control devices. Here, we report an ionic hydrogel (PTSM) prepared from polypropylene amine (PAM), tannic acid (TA), sodium alginate (SA), MXene. Based on the multiple weak H-bonds, this exhibits excellent stretchability (strain >4600%), adhesion, self-healing. introduction MXene nanosheets endows sensor with a high gauge factor (GF) 6.6. Meanwhile, it also enables triboelectric nanogenerators (PTSM-TENGs) fabricated silicone rubber-encapsulated hydrogels to have energy harvesting efficiency, instantaneous output power density 54.24 mW/m2. We build glove-based human-computer interaction (HMI) system using PTSM-TENGs. multidimensional signal features PTSM-TENG are extracted analyzed by HMI system, functions gesture visualization robot hand realized. In addition, signals can be used for object recognition help machine learning techniques. glove based achieves classification five objects through contact, accuracy rate 98.7%. Therefore, strain sensors broad application prospects man-machine interface, intelligent systems, auxiliary other fields due their stretchable self-healing performance.

Abstract Conductive Ti 3 C 2 T x MXenes have been widely investigated for the construction of flexible and highly‐sensitive pressure sensors. Although inevitable oxidation solution‐processed MXene has recognized, effect irreversible on its electrical conductivity sensing properties is yet to be understood. Herein, we construct a degradable piezoresistive sensor by coating flakes with different degrees in situ onto paper substrates using dipping‐drying method. In can tune intrinsic resistance expand interlayer distance nanosheets. The partially oxidized MXene‐based exhibits high sensitivity 28.43 kPa −1 , which greater than those pristine MXene, over‐oxidized state‐of‐the‐art paper‐based Additionally, these sensors exhibit short response time 98.3 ms, good durability over 5000 measurement cycles, low force detection limit 0.8 Pa.
