Abstract MicroRNAs (miRNAs) play pivotal role as biomarkers for various diseases, with salivary miRNAs offering a non‐invasive diagnostic tool. For mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI), like miR‐let7a, miR‐21, and miR‐30e show promise early detection of subtle injuries lacking reliable indicators. To advance the mTBI‐related miRNAs, this study integrates anti‐miRNA miRNA hybridization‐based sensing development nanoscale covalent‐organic framework (COF) platform. COFs, their highly customizable structures, large surface area, biocompatibility, serve versatile foundation biosensing applications. Here, post‐synthetic modification (PSM) COFs is introduced essential covalent conjugation streptavidin further immobilization methylene blue‐labeled biotinylated Anti‐miRNAs. Furthermore, layer‐by‐layer assembly conductive polymers enhanced biosensor's electrical performance, enabling ultrasensitive multiplexed miRNAs. Validated samples from mixed martial arts participants confirmed by polymerase chain reaction (PCR), COF‐based platform demonstrates robust accuracy reliability. By combining COF functionalization advanced electrode design, it offers powerful, solution mTBI broader biomedical

Lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) are gaining recognition as potentially effective carriers for delivery of therapeutic agents, including nucleic acids (DNA and RNA), the prevention treatment various diseases. Much effort has been devoted to implementation microfluidic techniques production monodisperse stable LNPs improvement encapsulation efficiency. Here, we developed three-dimensional (3D)-printed ring micromixers size-controllable monodispersed with a high mRNA The effects flow rate shape asymmetry on mixing performance were initially examined. Furthermore, physicochemical properties (such hydrodynamic diameter, polydispersity, efficiency) generated quantified function these physical parameters via biochemical analysis cryo-electron microscopy imaging. With 68 mL/min, our 3D-printed can be used manufacture diameters less than 90 nm, low polydispersity (<0.2), efficiency (>91%). Despite simplicity ring-shaped mixer structure, produce mRNA-loaded exceptional quality throughput, outperforming costly commercial micromixers.

Infection with the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, cause of disease (COVID-19), has emerged as a global pandemic, high toll on casualties, economic impact, and human lifestyle. Despite recent approval various vaccines against virus, challenges remain, including limited availability these vaccines, prevalent rejection vaccination by large proportion population, recurrent appearance new variants virus due to mutations. This context raises alarm for scientists clinicians seek alternative complementary therapies. In this context, natural products their derivatives serve reservoirs potential therapeutic compounds that can be exploited in research production antiviral drugs COVID-19. Among substances, lectin polysaccharides isolated from fauna flora emerge strategies treating infection. The review objective is cover analyze specific role lectins synergy fight deadly SARS-CoV-2 virus. For purpose, primary literature search was conducted Google Scholar, PubMed, Web Sciences using relevant keywords like “SARS-CoV-2 Variants”; “Antiviral Strategies”; Polysaccharides”; Lectins”; “Synergistic effect”. results demonstrate exhibit activities via mechanisms related binding steric blocking, glycan-based decoys, chemical reactions, particle disruption strategies, blocking competitive inhibition block its variants’ entry. addition, analyzes rationale behind combining lectins, emphasizing action. By simultaneously targeting multiple stages viral life cycle, dual strategy aims comprehensively inhibit propagation enhance durability over time.
