Herein, the scalable fabrication of hierarchical silicon structures featuring high‐density, horizontally super‐aligned sub‐5 nm nanowires (SiNWs), is reported. These unprecedented, highly organized architectures with tunable sizes and densities are fabricated using straightforward micro‐patterned SiO 2 /Si templates followed by a chemical vaporetching process. In time‐resolved structural analysis, it revealed that rapid, aggressive etching crucial for creating an inhomogeneous spatial distribution vapor etchants, inducing surface defects acting as preferential sites localized anisotropic along <111> direction. The efficacy this unique structure demonstrated single‐molecule detectable surface‐enhanced Raman scattering sensor, incorporating sub‐10 silver plasmonic nanoparticles. Its distinct features—marked quantum‐confined dimensions, ultrahigh area, dual‐scale roughness, exceptional uniformity—enable significant enhancement optical response detection sensitivity down to 10 −11 m . controlled SiNW architecture can broaden applications quantum in bio‐sensing other emerging technologies.

Point-of-care testing (POCT) devices are revolutionizing health monitoring by enabling rapid and accessible outside conventional laboratory environments. However, achieving laboratory-level accuracy in these portable continues to pose a significant challenge. This study introduces e-Patram, an innovative paper-based POCT sensor specifically designed for the precise efficient of dopamine (DA) urine, critical biomarker neurological health. In this study, a MOF-199/Ag@Au SERS sensing structure was successfully synthesized by combining metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) with surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) technology for the efficient detection of dopamine (DA), biomarker neurological diseases, in serum. Using electrochemical methods, copper-based MOF (MOF-199) situ on copper substrates and further deposited silver nanoparticles (AgNPs). Subsequently, gold nanoshells were encapsulated around these cores chemical deposition. This preparation process is simple, controllable, inexpensive. Furthermore, novel Azo reaction-based DA method proposed to detect 1 pM DA, which represents an improvement sensitivity two orders magnitude compared previous unlabeled methods four another approach work. There excellent linear relationship (R2 = 0.976) between signal at 1140 cm−1 concentration (0.001 M~1 pM). The results indicate that sensor can achieve both qualitative quantitative serum, thus providing robust technical basis application field clinical disease screening.

This work reports on the development of an analyte sampling strategy a plasmonic substrate to amplify detection capability dual analytical system, paper spray ionization–mass spectrometry (PSI-MS) and surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS). While simply applying only solution results in limited degree SERS enhancement, introduction gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) greatly improves signals without sacrificing PSI-MS sensitivity. It is initially revealed that concentration AuNPs type analytes highly influence their variations due “coffee ring effect” flow mechanism induced during interfacial interactions (e.g., van der Waals, electrostatic, covalent) between analyte.
