Abstract Achieving the “on‐off” control of hydrogen release remains a huge challenge in efficiently harnessing energy on demand. In this work, controlled production strategy is proposed. Hydrogen carrier ammonia borane (AB) and Co catalyst are loaded into kaolinite aerogel (KA) to obtain composite AB@Co/KA monolith. The results show that particles with surface‐oxidized species uniformly decorated surface aerogel, AB can fill pores form storage material. generation modulated by tuning amount water added, which achieves an Co‐modified KA (Co/KA) be repackaged multiple times for recycling use after completely hydrolyzed. This work provides promising approach controlling neither input additional nor foreign reagents added reaction system.

Abstract Freeze casting is a solidification technique utilized in the fabrication of porous materials. However, freeze process quite complex, and significant challenges remain precisely controlling pore size shape structures. This study aims to investigate customization multifunctional electromagnetic wave (EMW) absorbers with 3D structures via casting. review initially presents fundamental principles underlying examines correlation between internal external factors during preparation porosity. The emerging trends constructing novel intricate macroscopic through are subsequently outlined. Abstract Ammonia borane (NH 3 BH , AB) is a quintessential exemplar of chemical hydrogen storage materials and has been widely used in evolution. Although expensive metal catalysts (such as Rh, Ru, Pt, Ag, etc.) exhibit high activity the hydrolysis ammonia borane, inexpensive metals are more economical. Cobalt (Co), particular, not only relatively readily available, but also possesses selectivity. Compared to other catalysts, cobalt‐based have better durability can maintain catalytic for longer period time, making them favored by researchers. These demonstrate excellent stability, evolution rate, turn over frequency. This article summarized previous progress low price precipitation from focusing on supported various supports, especially those carbon materials, oxides, MOFs, nickel foams. The characteristics high‐performance systems analyzed detail. development prospects Co production were discussed. Efficient and low-cost nanocatalysts are extremely desirable for the catalytic reduction of 4-nitrophenol (4-NP). A smaller nanocatalyst particle size stronger support effect can significantly enhance performance. Naturally occurring halloysite nanotubes (HNTs) promising alternative supports fine metal nanoparticles, but smooth surface single type functional groups on HNTs usually unfavorable anchoring ions. Herein, we modified using a mild controllable molten salt etching method to create rough (rHNTs), followed by loading Pt–Ni alloys prepare Pt–Ni/rHNTs 4-NP. The results demonstrate that ultrafine alloy nanoparticles with diameter 1.60 nm uniformly dispersed rHNTs. performance be tuned adjusting amount Pt–Ni. optimized Pt–Ni/rHNT (1 wt %) reveals smallest highest rate 0.1953 min−1, which exceeds many Pt–Ni-based catalysts in previous reports. This work offers an ingenious idea modification brilliant perspective rational design inexpensive 4-NP nanocatalysts.
