Patterning techniques have garnered extensive attention within the realm of printed electronics owing to their substantial contributions across multifarious applications. A plethora printing methodologies emerged generate intricate 2D patterns, each designed achieve distinct functionalities. However, most prevailing necessitate utilization binders, meticulous formulation ink, compatibility checks with nozzles, and rigorous cleaning processes when direct contact methods are employed, all which consume significant time. This paper introduces an ultrafast binder-free method termed corona discharge-enabled automated electrostatic patterning (AEP), capable sub-100 μm resolution patterns a mere 2 s time frame. comprehensive investigation into mechanism underlying AEP is presented, elucidating its principles via theoretical derivations, COMSOL simulations, high-speed camera observation. The manufacturing high-quality flexible has also been demonstrated. Because autopatterning nature AEP, it can significantly improve efficiency advantages high sensitivity elimination ink drying process mask abrasion.
