The removal of low-concentration NOx contamination in the urban atmosphere has been regarded as an urgent issue to be solved context urbanization. In past few decades, TiO2 photocatalysis intensively investigated economical, efficient, and environmentally friendly means for abatement NOx. Up now, however, there have reviews focusing on TiO2-based photocatalysts photocatalytic NO removal. this review article, we will summarize latest advances with photocatalysts, which endowed reputation being star catalysts atmospheric environment remediation. We begin a survey mechanistic investigations removal, situ Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (in FTIR) Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) studies theoretical calculation reaction pathways Density Functional Theory. then introduce test methods ISO standards discuss effect parameters (catalyst mass, irradiation conditions, temperature, humidity). Meanwhile, also elaborate modification enhance efficiency progress recent years modified applied abatement. Lastly, put forward some feasible suggestions. end, may provide inspiration designing more effective removing from ambient atmosphere.
