Conventional enzyme-based glucose biosensors have limited extensive applications in daily life because oxidase is easily inactivated and expensive. In this paper, we propose a strategy to prepare new type of cost-effective, efficient, robust nonenzymatic Ni-CNT-O for electrochemical sensing. It first followed by the pyrolysis Ni-ABDC nanostrips using melamine grow carbon nanotubes (CNTs) give an intermediate product Ni-CNT, which further accompanied partial oxidation enable facile formation hierarchical nanomaterials with improved hydrophilicity. A series physicochemical characterizations fully proved that carbon-coated heterostructure Ni NiO nanoparticles embedded into coordination polymer-derived porous carbons. The obtained exhibits better electrocatalytic activity stemming from synergistic effect metal element oxide than unoxidized also shows high performance wide linear range 1 3000 μM. offers sensitivity 79.4 μA mM-1 cm-2, low detection limit 500 nM (S/N = 3), satisfactory long-term durability. Finally, sensor good reproducibility, selectivity, as well results comparing current response simulated serum within egg albumen.
