An
unprecedented
non-AAIPEX
protocol
has
been
developed

access
diverse
monosubstituted
cationic
polycyclic
heteroaromatic
compounds
(cPHACs)
from
the
readily
available
azolium
salts
and
phenacyl
bromides
via
Ru(II)-catalyzed
tandem
annulation
cum
aromatization.

of
intermediate
steps

Abstract
Hyperbranched
polymers
have
been
widely
applied
in
various
fields
because
of
their
good
solubility,
high
reactive
end
groups,
and
low
viscosity,
etc.
Therefore,
it
is
great
importance
to
develop
new
strategies
build
multifunctional
hyperbranched
with
novel
architectures.
In
this
work,
a
C(sp
3
)─H
activation‐based
polymerization
internal
alkynes
bifunctional
secondary
amines
successfully
established,
polyamines
(hb‐PAs)
100%
E
‐isomers
molecular
weights
(
M
w
up
76
500)
are
prepared
yields
(up
82%).
The
hb‐PAs
containing
tetraphenylethylene
moiety
show
unique
aggregation‐enhanced
emission
properties
can
be
used
for
explosive
detection
limit
(9.14
×
10
−8
m
).
Notably,
the
display
refractive
indices
1.7607)
that
further
modulated
1.7825
by
coordination
its
peripheral
ethynyl
group
metallic
cobalt.
Moreover,
structure
endows
much
better
than
linear
counterparts,
such
as
higher
photoluminescence
quantum
indices.

Abstract
It
is
a
great
desire
of
advanced
designed
materials
for
electricity
generation,
storage,
and
utilization
with
boosted
activity,
multifunctionality,
compatibility,
stability,
durability.
Organic
ionic
(OIMs)
superior
conductivity,
modifiability,
thermal/cold
tolerance
have
potential
in
meeting
the
demand.
Ionic
liquids,
polymers,
polyelectrolytes,
new‐emerging
composite
like
gels,
woods,
metallated
covalent
organic
frameworks
been
boomingly
developed
recent
years,
elaborated
design
which,
enhanced
performance
burgeoning
energy
such
as
higher
electrical
output,
larger
capacity,
wider
temperature
and/or
humidity,
longer
durability
promoted.
Despite
few
reviews
that
generalized
applications
single‐type
OIMs
certain
field,
there
lack
comprehensive
focusing
on
boosting
utilization.
Herein,
new
development
timely
systematically
reviewed
generation
(generators),
storage
(batteries
supercapacitors),
(sensors
actuators).
Synthesis
modification
strategies
are
summarized
material
design,
after
fundamentals
mechanisms
illustrated
theoretical
support.
Then,
designs
by
taking
processes
into
consideration,
followed
putting
forward
perspectives.

polyborosilazane
polymer
exhibiting
orange-yellow
clusteroluminescence,

PY3
samples
with
ultra-broad
emission
spectra
covering
range
400–750
nm.
Abstract
The
aggregate
luminescence
behaviors
of
polymeric
luminescent
materials
have
been
attracting
great
attention.
However,
the
importance
polymerization
process
on
luminescence,
namely,
polymerization‐induced
emission
(PIE),
has
rarely
overviewed.
In
this
review,
recent
advances
in
with
PIE
effects
are
summarized,
including
aromatic
rings
based
one‐/two‐/multi‐component
polymerizations,
and
without
according
to
disparate
mechanisms
polymerizations.
Typical
examples
selected
elaborate
basic
design
principles,
as
well
properties
potential
applications
luminous
polymers.
