Organic near-infrared room temperature phosphorescence (RTP) materials offer remarkable advantages in bioimaging due to their characteristic time scales and background noise elimination. However, developing RTP for deep tissue imaging still faces challenges since the small band gap may increase non-radiative decay, resulting weak emission short lifetime. In this study, fused-ring pyrrole-based structures were employed as guest molecules construction of long wavelength emissive materials. Compared decrease singlet energy level, triplet level showed a more effectively with conjugation substituent groups. Moreover, sufficient fused ring molecule suppresses decay excitons. Therefore, material (764 nm) was achieved penetration bioimaging. Tumor cell membrane is used coat nanoparticles (NPs) avoid decreasing performance compared traditional coating by amphiphilic surfactants. NPs tumor-targeting properties show favorable phosphorescent properties, superior stability, excellent biocompatibility. These are applied time-resolved luminescence eliminate interference penetration. This study provides practical solution prepare long-wavelength long-lifetime organic applications

Stretchable phosphorescence materials potentially enable applications in diverse advanced fields wearable electronics. However, achieving room-temperature simultaneously featuring long-lived emission and good stretchability is challenging because it hard to balance the rigidity flexibility same polymer. Here we present a multiphase engineering for obtaining stretchable phosphorescent by combining stiffness softness well-designed block copolymers. Due microphase separation, copolymers demonstrate an intrinsic of 712%, maintaining ultralong lifetime up 981.11 ms. This generally applicable series binary ternary initiator systems with color-tunable visible range. Moreover, these multi-level volumetric data encryption afterglow display. work provides fundamental understanding nanostructures material properties designing extends potential polymers.

Abstract Organic phosphorescent scintillating materials have shown great potential for applications in radiography and radiation detection due to their efficient utilization of excitons. However, revealing the relationship between molecule stacking radioluminescence scintillators is still challenging. This study reports on two phenothiazine derivatives with polymorphism‐dependent phosphorescence radioluminescence. The experiments reveal that significantly affects non‐radiation decay triplet excitons scintillators, which further determines scintillation performance under X‐ray irradiation. These exhibit high radio stability a low limit 278 nGys −1 . Additionally, application these radiography, based excited properties, demonstrated. findings provide guideline obtaining high‐performance by shedding light effect crystal packing organic molecules.

Organic phosphors integrating circularly polarized persistent luminescence (CPPL) across the visible range are widespread for applications in optical information encryption, bioimaging, and 3D display, but pursuit of color-tunable CPPL single-component organics remains a formidable task. Herein, via situ photoimplanting radical ion pairing into axial chiral crystals, we present elucidate an unprecedented double-module decay strategy to achieve colorful through combination stable triplet emission from neutral diphosphine doublet radiance photogenic radicals exclusive crystalline framework. Owing photoactivation-dependent component inherent phosphorescence asymmetric environment, CPL vision can be regulated by altering photoactivation observation time window, allowing glow tuning blue orange delayed green emission. Mechanism studies clearly reveal that this electron migration environment hybrid n–π* π–π* instincts responsible afterglow at ambient conditions. Moreover, demonstrate displays encryption manipulation both excitation times.

Naphthyl Substituted Impurities Induce Efficient Room Temperature Phosphorescence DOI

Accidentally, it was found that triphenylamine (TPA) from commercial sources shows ultralong yellow-green room temperature phosphorescence (RTP) like carbazole, which however disappears for lab-synthesized TPA with high purity. Herein, we the first time identify impurity types cause RTP of TPA, are two N, N-diphenyl-naphthylamine isomers. Due to similar molecular polarity and very trace amount (≈0.8 ‰, molar ratio), these naphthyl substituted impurities can be easily overlooked. We further show even at an extremely low (1000000 : 1, mass ratio) impurities, emission is still generated, attributed triplet-to-triplet energy transfer mechanism. Notably, this doping strategy also applicable triphenylphosphine benzophenone host systems, strong activated by simply corresponding analogues into them. This work therefore provides a general efficient host/guest toward performance diverse organic materials.
