This study investigates the synthesis and characterization of Schiff base network-1 (SNW-1) covalent organic framework (COF) nanomaterials their application in fabrication thin-film nanocomposite (TFN) membranes. The embedding SNW-1 COF reverse osmosis (RO) membranes with a polysulfone (PSf) substrate was done using interfacial polymerization method. result demonstrated that porous hydrophilic structure increased properties produced RO When embedded concentration 0.02 wt %, hydrophilicity membrane higher than other membranes, contact angle value 45.2°. Pure water flux, saline solution humic acid (HA)/sodium chloride (NaCl) foulant flux were measured to determine performance, it found as ratio increased, fluxes up certain rate. 0.005 % had highest values pure high salt rejection (34.2 32.2 LMH, 97.1%, respectively) most resistant against fouling. presents potential precise design capabilities controlled unique an additive for desalination applications.
