Comprehensive Summary A novel method for synthesizing α‐oxygen organoboron compounds has been developed through acylsilane‐based carbene insertion reactions into C—B bonds. As coupling partners, readily available (alkenyl, allyl, and allenyl B(pin)) were employed. Based on the substrates, pure bonds or followed by a siloxy group rearrangement process (from carbon to boron) would occur, delivering with great diversities. Control experiments demonstrated that electronic effect of substituents mainly controlled process. Besides, no matter which isomer substrate ( Z E ) was used, reaction β‐aryl‐substituted alkenyl B(pin) affords both isomers products E, separable column chromatography). Trapping indicated triplet energy transfer involved.

In the study, we introduce an air-stable NHC-based deoxyfluorination reagent ImCl[H2F3], offering a promising avenue for across various substrates. Reagent efficiently fluorinates benzyl alcohols, carboxylic acids, and P(V) compounds without external fluoride sources. A mechanistic study reveals two-step process involving chloride as intermediate, shedding light on reaction pathway. The Hammet plot provides insights into mechanisms with different substrates, enhancing our understanding of this versatile method.

Abstract A visible‐light‐induced photoredox‐catalyzed radical tandem cyclization of o ‐isocyanodiaryl amines with arylthiodifluoroalkyl 2‐pyridyl sulfones or difluormethyl bromides has been realized for the first time. The reaction works a broad range substrates and provides simple efficient method synthesis 11‐difluoromethyl‐substituted dibenzodiazepines from easily available starting materials in very mild conditions.
