Abstract Drawing inspiration from the nitrate reductase enzymes, which catalyze to nitrite in nature, here a bio‐inspired, reduced molybdenum oxide (MoO x ) shell is introduced that grown on top of dendritic nickel foam core (Ni NF ). The resulting MoO /Ni material prepared via facile, two‐step electrodeposition strategy using commercially available, low‐cost precursors. This catalytic displays remarkable faradaic efficiency (FE) 99% at −0.5 V versus RHE and high ammonia (NH 3 yield rate up 4.29 mmol h −1 cm −2 −1.0 neutral media. Most importantly, exhibits exceptional stability for reduction reaction (NO RR), maintaining operation over 3100 current density −650 mA , with 2.6 stable average NH FE ≈83%. Through combined XPS situ Raman spectroscopy it shown pronounced affinity associated substantial presence oxygen vacancies within material.
