Design
and
realization
of
covalent
organic
polymers
(COPs)
with
precise
structure
are
challenging
yet
interesting.
Herein,
light‐yellow
single
crystals
a
novel
1D
COP
(named
as
CityU‐32
)
containing
the
dative
nitrogen→boron
bonds
through
assembly
between
trigonal‐planar
boronic
esters
(derived
from
catechol
benzene‐1,3,5‐triyltriboronic
acid)
2,6‐di(pyridine‐4‐yl)naphthalene
prepared.
The
single‐crystal
X‐ray
diffraction
analysis
shows
that
features
chain‐like
zigzag
multichain
stacking
feature,
where
adjacent
chains
stacked
together
interlocked
each
other
double
hydrogen
bonding
interaction
formed
ester
units.
Additionally,
has
been
demonstrated
to
show
some
potential
applications
in
field
peroxide
(H
2
O
production.

The
effective
separation
of
aromatic
and
aliphatic
hydrocarbons

HOF,
BN-HOF-1

recognize
separate
mixtures
toluene-methylcyclohexane,

generating
99.6%
pure

heating,

Metal–organic
cages
are
a
class
of
discrete
supramolecular
architectures
endowed
with
well-defined
cavity
and
diverse
functionalities,
offering
broad
range
applications
that,
however,
predominantly
confined
to
liquid
phases.
In
this
study,
we
present
the
self-assembly
Eu(III)4L4
tetrahedra,
constructed
from
triarylborane-cored
tritopic
tridentate
ligands,
which
were
fabricated
into
spin-coated
films
bright
emission,
smooth
surfaces,
uniform
thickness.
These
demonstrated
ultralow
detection
limits
for
series
volatile
amines,
reaching
sub-ppt
level.
This
work
serves
as
compelling
example
preparation

metal–organic-cage-based

Although
tailored
porosity
is
a
defining
feature
of
layered,
two-dimensional
(2D)
polymers
known
as
2D
covalent
organic
frameworks
(COFs),
understanding
the
interplanar
stacking
COFs
and
their
resulting
three-dimensional
(3D)
pore
structure
remains
challenging.
Here,
we
use
scanning
transmission
electron
microscopy
ptychography,
an
emerging
3D
angstrom-scale
imaging
method,
to
study
single-crystalline
particles
imine-linked
COF
TAPB-DMPDA.
Previously
assumed
adopt
average-eclipsed
with
only
angstrom-level
disorder,
find
crystals
contain
widespread
disorder
larger
magnitudes,
including
shifts
up
half
unit
cell
nanoscale
inhomogeneities
in
tilt.

channels
are
distorted
by

disorder.

Despite
recent
significant
advancements
in

of
organic
polymeric
crystals
(OPCs),
a
comprehensive
understanding
design
principles
for
high-mechanical-property
remains

elusive.

we
investigate
mechanical
properties
OPCs
from
perspectives
stress
dispersion
and
energy
dissipation
by
examining
macrocycle
three
analogous
polymers
with
different
solvent
fillings,
utilizing
novel
research
platform
constructed
via
dative
B-N
bonds.
Through
thorough
study
investigation
into
molecular
mechanisms
these
model
topologies,
it
was
demonstrated
that
structural
expansion
filling
are
effective
pathways
enhancing
performance
employing
strategies.
Overall,
our
showcases
precise
control
over
topology
OPC
materials
elucidates
specific
modulating
their
performance,
offering
broader
perspective
efficiently
other
crystalline
polymers,

Abstract
Photo‐responsive
organic
crystals,
capable
of
converting
light
energy
into
chemical
to
initiate
conformational
transitions,
present
an
emerging
strategy
for
developing
lightweight
and
versatile
smart
materials.
However,
visible
light‐triggered
tailored
guests
capture
release
behaviors
in
all‐organic
solids
are
rarely
reported.
Here,
we
introduce
a
photoreactive
crystalline
boron‐nitrogen
(B←N)
host
adduct
with
the
ability
undergo
[2+2]
photocycloaddition
upon
447
nm
exposure.
This
process
facilitates
single‐crystal‐to‐single‐crystal
(SCSC)
photodimerization
mother
liquor,
maintaining
original
B←N
structure.
Weakened
intermolecular
interactions
within
photodimer
contribute
fast
guest
air
under
irradiation.
Furthermore,
dynamic
bonds
enable
reversible
transformations
between
adducts
cocrystals
solvent‐induced
allosteric
effect.
As
result,
four
crystals
containing
individual
alkane
easily
obtained
exhibited
photo‐controlled
release.
Therefore,
integration
photo
reactivity
structural
transformation
enables
customized
molecules.
