Spin qubits constructed in endohedral fullerenes benefit from the protective shielding of carbon cage, which effectively mitigates external decoherence and enables ultralong coherence times. However, fullerene spin face challenge charge transfer complex electrical environments, such as during qubit readout or large-scale integration, can induce state modifications. In this study, we developed transistors based on Lu2@C82 observed absence parity dependence Kondo effect; result was contradictory to typical behavior effect C60. Density functional theory calculations revealed that upon electron loss, a spin-1/2 predominantly s-orbitals formed Lu–Lu bond its orbital energy significantly lower than highest occupied molecular orbital. Based these results, held stable unpaired states across multiple has potential applications quantum devices.
