In this report, a new organic-inorganic hybrid bimetallic halide with excellent luminescent properties, namely, [Ga(C2H6OS)6](SbBr6), has been synthesized and characterized. This compound crystallizes in the trigonal space group R3̅ = b 13.83069(14) Å, c 15.7632(3) V 2611.34(7) Å3, Z 3, features zero-dimensional structure composed of isolated [Ga(C2H6OS)6]3+ cation clusters (SbBr6)3- inorganic anion octahedra. [Ga(C2H6OS)6](SbBr6) crystals exhibit bright yellowish-green photoluminescent broadband emission centered at 540 nm full width half-maximum 115 nm, large Stokes shift 175 high photoluminescence quantum yield 43.1%. Moreover, displays impressive radioluminescence performance when excited by X-rays, light 13 500 photons MeV-1 radiation resistance. Flexible films incorporating polydimethylsiloxane illustrate X-ray imaging ability spatial resolution approximately 10 lp mm-1 low detection limit 161.2 nGyair s-1. These preliminary investigations demonstrate considerable potential for applications radiography.

Using chiral amino acids as terminal ligands, colorless crystals of Cd3(SCN)6(l-C5H9NO3)2(H2O)2·0.5CH3OH (1) and Cd(SCN)2(l-C6H14N4O2)2 (2) were obtained by a solvent evaporation method. Compound 1 has layered structure with moderate second harmonic generation (SHG) efficiency (0.2 × KH2PO4) large birefringence (0.301 at 546 nm). 2 features molecular strong SHG (2.67 wide band gap (4.84 eV). Theoretical calculations performed to elucidate the origin response compound 2.

ABSTRACT A novel compound, (C 6 H 5 N 2 )(C 7 O)[CoCl 4 ], crystallizes in the non‐centrosymmetric space group (Cc). It displays a unique arrangement resulting from presence of two distinct monoprotonated organic molecules ) + and O) , as well isolated tetrachlorocobaltate (II). The cohesion between these inorganic edifices is ensured by hydrogen bonds π‐π interactions, which are analyzed more detail Hirshfeld surface analysis. This paper also presents experimental results FT‐IR Raman spectroscopy, discussing vibrational modes different groups present this compound. Additionally, article includes theoretical analysis using density functional theory DFT calculations. optical study, UV–Visible absorption, shows wide band gap exceeding 2.00 eV. significant β value indicates that new compound promising material for non‐linear devices. When excited with 375 nm light, system exhibits bright yellow orange emissions aggregated states, effectively serve building blocks white light. emission, located approximately saturated light region, corresponds to CIE chromaticity coordinates (0.3978, 0.4178).

Two organic-inorganic hybrid solids, namely, Zn(SCN)2(L-C9H11NO2)2 (1) and Zn4(SCN)4(L-C5H8NO3)4(H2O)4 (2), were synthesized by incorporating chiral amino acids into the zinc thiocyanate system. Compound 1 crystallizes as a monomeric complex in noncentrosymmetric space group P21, while compound 2 features circular tetrameric structure crystallized P21212. Both compounds exhibit phase-matching second-harmonic generation (SHG) responses, which are 1.4 3.1 times that of KH2PO4, respectively. Theoretical calculations conducted to determine source their SHG responses.

It is of great significance to explore new nonlinear optical (NLO) materials for the development modern laser testing technology. In this paper, two non-centrosymmetric organic-inorganic hybrid Pb-based bromides, (CH5N3S)2Pb5Br10 and (CH5N3S)Pb2Br4, were synthesized by a simple hydrothermal method. They crystallize in Fdd2 P212121 space groups, respectively. Both (CH5N3S)Pb2Br4 are three-dimensional structures formed interconnecting Pb5(CH5N3S)2Br12 or Pb4(CH5N3S)4Br9 units. Notably, structure units PbBr3S, Pb2Br7, Pb2Br5N2S2, PbBr3NS appear first time thiourea compounds. exhibits 0.6 times second harmonic generation (SHG) effect KH2PO4. After changing coordination organic inorganic parts, shows SHG 1.02 that Analysis structures, NLO properties, thermal analyses, theoretical calculations presented work.

Chiral hybrid organic-inorganic metal halides have garnered broad attention due to their unique optoelectronic properties. Here, a pair of chiral helical lead halides, (d-/l-pro)PbBr3·H2O (pro = proline), with centimeter-size has been successfully synthesized via integrating three types functional building units including amino acid ligand, ns2 cations, and halide anion. Their structures are composed one-dimensional {[Pb2Br6]2-}∞ chains formed by face-sharing distorted [PbBr6]4- octahedra, which separated cations crystallize into the space group P21. They present phase-matchable second-harmonic-generation (SHG) response moderate birefringence. First-principles calculations elucidate that effective SHG performances originate from synergetic contribution octahedra. This work not only enriches structural chemistry lead-based but also provides an important reference for development halides.
