g-C3N4, as a novel photocatalytic antibacterial material, has been widely studied due to its broad-spectrum properties, strong activity, excellent chemical and thermal stability, high versatility, low cost. However, there is still lack of comprehensive summaries regarding applications. This article reviews the preparation methods, principles, enhancement strategies discusses current status prospects in Firstly, principles preparing g-C3N4 using methods such thermosetting polymerization, solvothermal synthesis, electrochemical deposition, vapor microwave-assisted synthesis are introduced. Then, starting from mechanisms for enhancing performance through surface modification, elemental doping, constructing heterojunctions discussed. Additionally, applications fields water purification, wound infection, textiles, packaging materials summarized, showcasing broad application prospects.
