Abstract The Qilian Shan is situated along the northeastern margin of Tibetan Plateau, and has undergone multiple episodes tectonic deformation since Paleozoic. Strikingly, in adjacent areas encompasses newly formed inherited lithospheric crustal structures. This study presents Mesozoic‐Cenozoic post‐orogenic thermo‐tectonic histories these active units utilizing an integrated approach combining apatite U‐Pb fission track thermochronometers. dates are dominantly Paleozoic, mainly recording post‐magmatic cooling sampled granitoid rocks. data record Late Triassic to Cretaceous ages (central between ∼223 ∼88 Ma), most measured mean lengths ∼13 ∼12 μm. results thermal history models revealed that Shan, Longshou Beida experienced various moderate rapid basement during Early Cretaceous, which we interpret as a far‐field response series distant events including Paleo‐Asian Ocean's closure, Qiangtang collision, Tethys‐deformation Lhasa collision. During this period, fault‐bounded displayed different exhumation patterns, with North exhibiting late denudation while others preserved uplifted partial annealing zones.

Hainan Island is the only large island located on northern margin of South China Sea and surrounded by Cenozoic graben basins, including Qiongdongnan, Yinggehai, Beibuwan basins. The uplift denudation history Jianfeng pluton southwestern significant for understanding formation regional geomorphology adjacent basin evolution. This paper presents apatite zircon fission-track (FT) analyses conducted pluton. FT (ZFT) ages range are from 63 ± 4 to 108 8 Ma, (AFT) 19.4 1.8 43.9 4.4 Ma. average confined track lengths in relatively short (11.9–12.8 μm). An age–elevation plot indicates that two rapid cooling events occurred during 73–63 44–40 Thermal modeling revealed four stages 40–11 11–0 From Late Cretaceous middle Eocene (73–40 Ma), area underwent episodic denudation. At end (73–63 was affected mid-ocean ridge spreading Proto-South Sea. During (44–40 Yinggehai Basin abrupt expansion subsidence, which increased elevation difference between Basin. Miocene (40–11 slow denudation, rapidly infilled, eliminated original areas. present (11–0 has undergone reactivated driven remote effects India–Eurasia collision.
