Diaphragmatic breathing is relaxing and therapeutic, reduces stress, a fundamental procedure of Pranayama Yoga, Zen, transcendental meditation other practices. Analysis oxidative stress levels in people who meditate indicated that correlates with lower levels, cortisol higher melatonin levels.
