Amid escalating global antisemitism, particularly following the Hamas attack on Israel October 7, 2023, this study addresses critical gaps in understanding psychosocial impact of antisemitism Jewish communities worldwide. Focusing community Germany, we conducted a cross-sectional survey 420 individuals (mean age = 40.71 years, SD 15.90; 57% female). Participants completed measures assessing four distinct forms perceived and experienced antisemitism: everyday discrimination, microaggressions (subtle collective experiences such as encountering antisemitic comments social media), vigilance against prevalence antisemitism. Psychosocial outcomes-including depression, anxiety, subjective well-being, participation-were also measured. Data were analyzed using correlation analyses multiple linear regressions, Latent Profile Analysis (LPA) identified groups based shared perceptions levels identification. Results indicate that discriminatory acts, significantly associated with poorer mental health outcomes reduced participation. Perceptions, Attitudes, and Experiences Regarding Mental Health Care Among Young Black Men DOI Creative Commons

Mental health service research has insufficiently examined young Black men’s (YBM; ages 18–25) mental care consumption patterns, obscuring their unmet needs. Concurrently, the literature indicates YBM face needs that impede ability to address numerous negative social determinants of (e.g., high adverse childhood experiences, low socioeconomic status, etc.). Because preventing or treating issues at near onset can dramatically improve outcomes, this study utilizes thematic analysis elucidate factors most consequential YBM’s experiences as consumers. Eight ( M age = 21.1 years) were purposively recruited participate in semi-structured interviews discuss attitudes regarding and cultural attitudes, gender-based structural racism, transition adulthood. Abstract Objective Although rates of weight discrimination are on‐par with racial, ethnic, and gender discrimination, comparatively less work has examined impacts weight‐based in youth, including on disordered eating. Method Youth ( N = 11,875) ages 10–11 were recruited through the Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development (ABCD) study. Objectives Discrimination poses a threat to the mental health of university students, especially those affected by social inequality, yet understanding its intersectional impact remains limited. This study examines intersection inequalities with perceived discrimination explore differences in among students Germany. Methods Data from cross-sectional project “Survey on conditions and students” (n = 14,592) were analysed using Multilevel Analysis Individual Heterogeneity Discriminatory Accuracy (MAIHDA). Depressive symptoms, cognitive stress exhaustion examined across 48 strata based gender, first academic generation, family care tasks, discrimination. Results The MAIHDA analysis revealed substantial between variance, most it explained additive rather than interaction effects. ABSTRACT This study examined how established adult offspring born to lesbian parents cope with the renewed anti‐LGBTQ+ oppression in United States. The included 75 adults their early thirties ( M = 30.93, SD 0.92; 49.33% female, 48.00% male and 2.66% gender non‐binary; 90.67% White, 9.33% people of colour) from Wave 7 National Longitudinal Lesbian Family Study. Even though majority (68%) are heterosexual no longer live at home, awareness homophobic discrimination against may have a negative effect on mental health. We hypothesised that coping strategies, such as educating others about or actively resisting it, could reduce impact perceived stigma Surprisingly, results showed who coped through reported lower life satisfaction when they higher levels stigma. There were significant findings relating psychological distress. indicate importance studying families minoritised sexual identities during time laws policies.
