The work of public safety personnel (PSP) is inherently moral; however, the ability PSP to do what good and right can be impeded frustrated, leading moral suffering. Left unresolved, suffering may develop into injury (MI) potential psychological harm. current study was designed examine if MI relevant frontline communicators, firefighters, paramedics. Semi-structured interviews (n = 3) focus groups were conducted with 19 participants (public communicators 2); paramedics 7); firefighters 10)). A conceptual "frustrating expectations" emerged, identifying three interrelated properties as being potentially morally injurious: chronic societal problems, impaired systems, organizational quagmires. Moral injury is a significant issue for healthcare workers, often stemming from exposure to ethical dilemmas and distressing events. This study aims explore the relationship between moral workers' career calling, using job demands-resources model as theoretical framework. ABSTRACT Objective The present study assessed program feasibility and satisfaction among recent‐era veterans who participated in Mindfulness to Manage Moral Injury (MMMI), a live facilitated web‐based 7‐week mindfulness‐based targeting moral injury veterans. Method In total, 56 post‐9/11 were recruited with 28 randomized the MMMI condition Education Support (ES) condition. Most participants identified as being White (71.4%), male (66.1%), had reported mean age of 41.50 years (Median = 39.50, SD 9.26). Results Among participants, 82.1% attended at least one treatment session 44.6% completed all seven sessions. Moral injury is a prevalent issue for secure mental healthcare staff, though understanding of the underlying mechanisms limited. Moral injury exacerbates poor outcomes, such as negative attitudes toward the future; however, potential underlying mechanisms of this association remain unknown. This present study aimed to disentangle pathways linking moral confidence future through serial mediation effect psychological resilience and valued living in a Turkish population. The data analyzed were collected from representative samples adult aged 18-65 years Gaziantep Province, Turkey. A total 681 participants (77.7% female, mean age = 25.05) included study. ABSTRACT Introduction Self‐compassion and self‐forgiveness are two self‐focused, positive coping approaches that may reduce risk of problem drinking and/or aid in treatment/recovery from alcohol use disorder. The present systematic review aimed to evaluate support for the unique complementary roles self‐compassion outcomes. Methods A literature search yielded 18 studies examining self‐compassion, 1 study both constructs Results Findings suggest greater relate lower likelihood drinking. Self‐forgiveness was considerably more researched outcomes than self‐compassion; self‐forgiveness‐based interventions appear able improve drinking‐adjacent outcomes, increase across various treatments. There is evidence to suggest that self-compassion related positive health and wellbeing outcomes, therefore, this paper explores concept within the military veteran population. The aim of review was identify research explore evidence-based as a protective factor, from negative amongst veterans.
