China has made considerable efforts to mitigate the pollution of lakes over past decade, but success rate these restoration actions at a national scale remains unclear. The present study compiled 13-year (2005–2017) comprehensive dataset consisting 24,319 records from China's 142 and reservoirs. We developed novel Water Quality Index (WQI-DET), customized water quality classification scheme, investigate spatio-temporal patterns. likelihood regime shifts during our period is examined with sequential algorithm. Systematic knowledge of the development, trends, and limitations wetland ecosystem services (WES) is extremely meaningful for direction WES studies management. A systematic literature review was conducted by collecting 1711 peer-reviewed articles through Web Science ScienceDirect searching "topic" domain using combined keywords "ecosystem service" OR services" "wetland". The results indicated that current focus on evaluation, driving factors, management, policy design, which accounted 90.9% obtained articles. factors are mainly multiple land use change, climate change.
