ABSTRACT Sharp wave ripples (SPW‐Rs) represent the most synchronous population pattern in mammalian brain. Their excitatory output affects a wide area of cortex and several subcortical nuclei. SPW‐Rs occur during “off‐line” states brain, associated with consummatory behaviors non‐REM sleep, are influenced by numerous neurotransmitters neuromodulators. In the era of big data, transformation biomedical data into valuable knowledge has been one most important challenges in bioinformatics. Deep learning advanced rapidly since early 2000s and now demonstrates state-of-the-art performance various fields. Accordingly, application deep bioinformatics to gain insight from emphasized both academia industry. Here, we review bioinformatics, presenting examples current research. To provide a useful comprehensive perspective, categorize research by domain (i.e. omics, imaging, signal processing) architecture neural networks, convolutional recurrent emergent architectures) present brief descriptions each study. Additionally, discuss theoretical practical issues suggest future directions. We believe that this will insights serve as starting point for researchers apply approaches their studies.
