Physicians in internal medicine are exposed to high levels of stress. Conditions chronic emotional fatigue and burnout widespread. Resilience, the ability cope with difficult situations adapt adverse circumstances, is essential. Resilient physicians remain calm, make clear decisions a position support collegial environment as well requisition utilize themselves. Resilience can be described at biological level influenced by mechanisms, such hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis; , even resilience patients should more strongly considered medicine. better stress due disease sequelae treatment, which not only facilitates healing regeneration process but also strengthens adaptability altered life case newly occurring health challenges. Interventions that activate individual coping strategies social positively influence course diseases. A contributes quality patient care. In addition factors, this based particularly on psychological factors specifically promoted trained.

Abstract Shorter telomere length (TL) is associated with an increased risk for developing chronic or age-related diseases in adults. The process of shortening accelerated response to stress and well characterized adult populations from high-income countries. Prior studies suggest the relationship between stress, shorter TL, disease initiates early life. Nested within WASH Benefits Bangladesh trial, we examined associations parental stressors, including maternal exposure intimate partner violence (IPV), depressive symptoms, perceived child TL rural Bangladesh. We measured whole blood relative 660 children at median age 14 months 702 28 months. estimated mean differences 25th 75th percentile absence presence each using generalized additive models. IPV during pregnancy was more attrition (− 0.32 (95% CI − 0.64, 0.01), p-value 0.05). This association not significant after correction multiple comparisons. Other psychosocial stressors were outcomes Telomere biology early-life development may vary across settings.
