Abstract
Organic
circularly
polarized
luminescence
(CPL)
plays
crucial
roles
in
chemistry
and
biology
for
the
potential
chiral
recognition,
asymmetric
catalysis,
3D
displays,
biological
probes.
The
long‐lived
luminescence,
large
Stokes
shift,
unique
chiroptical
properties
make
organic
room‐temperature
phosphorescence
(CPP)
a
new
research
hotspot
recent
years.
Nevertheless,
achieving
high‐performance
CPP
is
still
challenging
due
to
sensitivity
complexity
of
integrating
triplet
excitons
polarization
within
materials.
This
review
summarizes
latest
advances
CPP,
ranging
from
design
strategies
photophysical
underlying
mechanisms
applications.
Specifically,
generating
are
systemically
categorized
discussed
according
interactions
between
units
chromophores.
applications
light‐emitting
diodes,
sensing,
afterglow
information
encryption

illustrated.

we
present
current

remains
great
challenge.
In
this
paper,
we
chose
two
achiral
conjugated
pyrene-based
main-chain
polymers
(BP-1
and
BP-2)
different
substitution
positions
(1,6-positions
the
pyrene
rings
for
BP-1
2,7-positions
chiral
binaphthyl-based
inducer
(S/R-D)
bridged
alkyl
chain
to
construct
coassemblies
through
an
intermolecular
chirality
induction
mechanism.
Interestingly,
after
thermal
annealing
treatment,
resulting
S/R-D-BP-2
could
emit
inverted
amplified
CPL
signals
compared
S/R-D-BP-1.
Most
significantly,
maximum
|glum|
value
(S/R-D)0.2-(BP-2)0.8
in
spin-coated
film
was
up
0.71
(λem

nm,
QY
44.8%)
at

nm
thickness,
which
about
6-fold

Abstract
Circularly
polarized
luminescence
(CPL)‐active
materials
are
increasingly
recognized
for
their
potential
applications
such
as
3D
imaging,
data
storage,
and
optoelectronic
devices.
Typically,
CPL
have
required
high‐energy
(HE)
photons
excitation
to
emit
low‐energy
(LE)
circularly
light,
a
process
known
downshifting
(DSCPL).
However,
the
emergence
of
upconverted
(UCCPL),
where
absorption
multi
LE
results
in
emission
single
HE
photon
with
circular
polarization,
has
recently
attracted
considerable
attention.
This
minireview
highlights
intricate
relationship
between
upconversion
phenomena.
During
upconversion,
dissymmetry
factor
(
g
lum
)
value
can
be
improved
certain
systems.
Additionally,
integration
both
upconversion‐downshifting‐synergistic
systems
offers
avenues
dual‐excitation
or
dual‐emission
functionalities.
More
