Litter decomposition is a highly complex physical and biochemical process that plays crucial role in promoting energy transformation forest ecosystems. This study examines the impact of different concentrations nitrogen compound fertilizers on quality litter plantation Populus euramericana ‘N3016’ × ussuriensis. The major components elemental contents from layers (the undecomposed layer semidecomposed layer) were analyzed across various months. Overall, application fertilizer or did not significantly alter cellulose, lignin, potassium (K) layers. Nitrogen increased average content (U-layer) (N) phosphorus (P) by 0.220% 0.009%, respectively. Compound U-layer 0.055%. These findings suggest while fertilization can increase initial N P to some extent, it has minimal overall quality. Future research should be focused effects climatic conditions, soil properties, fauna, microbial activity decomposition.
